ZOUK KUALA LUMPUR
In August 2015, Asia's largest superclub Zouk Kuala Lumpur (Zouk KL) relocated from Jalan Ampang to its new home at TREC.
With a built-up space of 60,000 sq ft, the RM38 million (S$14.8m) nightspot is the most expensive club ever built in Malaysia, and it will be the beacon of KL's entertainment. The multi-concept Zouk KL comprises 11 venues – Zouk Café Bar; Beer Garden; Zouk Main Room; Members' Lounge; Velvet Underground; Phuture; Ace; Imperial; Apex Lounge; Glass Box; and Balcony Deck, which overlooks the expansive views of the Royal Selangor Golf Club. Zouk KL also offers a dedicated VIP concierge service. Built as a self-contained entity, the superclub also has its own first aid room, private catering facilities, valet service, private lifts for VIP guests, and more.
With distinct straight lined edges defining its unprecedented facade, the structure of Zouk KL is a vision that embodies the innovative concept of a world-class development. It is ranked and voted No. 26 by global consumers in DJ Mag's annual Top 100 Clubs In The World poll. Zouk KL draws 15,000 visitors, including tourists, each week. Every year, more than half a million visitors waltz past its doors. Of whom, 100,000 are tourists.
In 2014, Zouk KL clinched the Nightspot Platinum Award at the Mayor's Tourism Awards. It is also the only standalone nightspot in Malaysia endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture under the National Key Economic Areas. Zouk KL is the only nightspot in the metropolis that has a 5am operating license. Zouk KL's exclusive lounge and bar, Imperial, is the first in Malaysia to be inducted into The World's Finest Clubs.
